Lone Typist privacy policy

Lone Typist collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. The app makes no network connections, so nothing you write can leave your Mac through it.

What stays on your Mac

Your documents are plain text files, saved where you put them. The app also keeps a settings file, timed backup copies of the document you are working on, and, if it ever crashes, a crash log. Those live in your Library folder, they stay on your Mac, and deleting the app's Application Support folder removes them.

Printing

Printing hands your text to the printer you choose through macOS's own printing system. Nothing else sees it.
